We like to eat here before Corona, in winter it is quaint and cozy in summer and you can sit in the garden in summer. Good food and fine beer.
In times of lockdown, we had ordered schnitzel with chips and salad to be picked up. Even when the food was still wrapped up in our kitchen, I smelled a smell of old fat. When this was unpacked on the plate, the whole thing was confirmed. The fries were soaked and apparently baked in the deep fat fryer for too long. I tried a few and found that these are inedible. The schnitzel was rather below average. Nothing special. The salad was underground, more precisely not fresh enough to serve + collapsed before too much oil in the dressing / salad. You can still overlook all of these things by simply not ordering there anymore. Unfortunately, that's not all. My wife has additionally spoiled her stomach for the rather poor quality food. I'll spare you the details. Apart from an uncomfortable feeling in the stomach area, I was largely spared. Exactly what it was, fries or schnitzel or the station wagon, we don't know. Because of the incident, we wanted to point this out to the owner. As I then found out, it was open the last day and then closed for an indefinite period. Then I ask myself: just a stupid coincidence with regard to our food or according to the motto: everything has to go out (or no longer out> fat) and "it doesn't matter", because it's already closed anyway! My conclusion: in the future I will go for a really good schnitzel, rather a little further to Lohndorf ;-)
Nice service good prices and decent food.
Nice and courteous service good food and beer
Food warmed up in the evening hard and tough so does not work !!
We are very excited about your cooking, your great service and that you even opened on the 1st holiday. Thank you!
The organization is chaotic, coffee and apple strudel were good
Depends on... At the Frankenteller the sausages were very salty. The carp was borderline long baked - not yet burned, but already very dark breading. The schnitzel, on the other hand, and other roasts have been perfect. Various beers, all good. Priced everything cheap.
Good food ware with Jerry u. Elfriede
Service competent and friendly, kitchen has diminished. Too bad
The museum inn Schmaus is a very nice inn in Frensdorf. In addition to typical Franconian specialties, there are also very nice salad. On sunny days you can also stay in the beautifully designed outdoor area. The portions are generous and relatively cheap. The service is extremely friendly and accommodating.
Was invited to a wedding. A very friendly and attentive staff. The atmosphere has something, the flair of the museum is palpable.
Had a wonderful celebration, food, service, restaurant, everything was fine
Beautifully renovated location with a large beer garden, but right on a busy street. The food is good, the waiters very friendly.
Unfriendly! Service was also eternally waiting, which has led us to spend our money somewhere else.
Good and tasty Franconian cuisine in a nice dining room. Beer garden is one of them.
Excellent food, even for the smallest you will always find something. The staff very nice, reservations allowed. Are completely thrilled, price performance is right. Come back anyway.
The place looks very good and nice. The Sunday dumplings unfortunately taste like powder dumplings, which is a star deduction. And when the place is a little full, the meal takes longer than expected to get to the table. Service are friendly and committed.
Great food, all good and you should also try something unusual. The cook has it out! Photo: Pfiffer burger
Very good food. Lovingly prepared. Price slightly above average but that's well worth it.
Nicely restored pub with a nice village feel and well-cooked Franconian specialities. Bratkartoffeln to die for.
